April 2024 – Hazmat removal

As part of the Cowra Hospital Redevelopment bulk earthworks has commenced on site. Upon commencement of earthworks, some soil stockpiles have been identified as containing Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). Work is now taking place to remove hazardous material, including asbestos. All construction activities will be carried out with the health and safety of the local community as our key priority.

As part of the Cowra Hospital Redevelopment work is required to provide a new permanent sewer connection to the property, No 2 Ina Drive, Tresillian Family Care Centre. Ina Drive will be closed out at high intersection with Carleton Street as show on the map View PDF
